Classic and Modern: masterpieces from the BBVA Collection
Categories: exhibitions.

Fancy seeing almost 100 world-class works of art?
The BBVA Collection is on full display in this exhibition that brings together 90 masterpieces.
You can enjoy these pieces in the Sala Joanes of the Museum of Fine Arts of Valencia from 13 November 2025 to 15 February 2026.
The exhibition includes everything from the great masters of the Renaissance to works by the pioneers of modern art.
How is that possible? Through four theme-based sections, covering power, portraiture, genres and modernity, you can follow the evolution of art from Flanders and Italy in the 16th century to the most iconic Spanish painters of the 19th century.
You will come face to face with paintings by geniuses such as Murillo, Van Dyck, Goya, Sorolla and Zuloaga. These artworks make up one of the most important collections in Spain and their technical virtuosity and narrative power never fail to fascinate.
Up for an artistic journey?
